Air Quality Alert Issued Due to Wildfire Smoke
(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- An air quality alert has been issued because of wildfire smoke, according to ABC affiliate KOAT-TV. The alert, issued by the Environmental Health Department, will last until Sunday at 3 p.m.
Winds are pushing the smoke from the wildfire towards Albuquerque, and the air quality could worsen on Friday and into the weekend.
Residents are urged to try and stay indoors and keep windows and doors closed, according to the report.
