Albuquerque Police Department Makes 64 DWI Arrests

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- The Albuquerque Police Department arrested 64 drivers on DWI charges between Wednesday, July 4 and Sunday, July 8, the Albuquerque Journal reports.

Police said 14 of the 64 arrests took place at the two checkpoints set up in town.

In addition to the 64 arrests, 11 vehicles were seized, which indicates that those drivers were repeat DWI offenders, the paper says.
