Amber Alert Issued by Police for Local Teen

(TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M.) -- Truth or Consequences police are searching for Safrina Ug-Sang, 15, who police believe may have been abducted by her uncle, Chris Salgado, 48, ABC affiliate KOAT-TV reports.

According to police, the pair were last seen around 12:20 a.m. on Thursday walking away from the teen’s home on Yucca Street.

Police officials described Salgado as 250 pounds, 6’5” tall and last seen wearing a T-shirt and colored shorts. He is also balding with brown eyes and short black hair.

Ug-Sang is described as 117 pounds, 5’2” tall with brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black shirt.

Please call Truth or Consequences police if you have any information about their whereabouts.
