Driver Saved at Last Minute from Burning Truck by State Trooper

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- A truck driver narrowly escaped a fiery death thanks to two heroes, according to ABC affiliate KOAT-TV.

New Mexico State Police officer Chris Stimpson and Motor Transportation Department officer Rodney Bone managed to pull the driver out of his truck before the blaze claimed his life. The incident, which took place in Quay County on Interstate 40, was captured by dash cam.

Both officers will receive the Medal of Valor, the state police's highest honor, KOAT reports.
