Iraq War Veteran Has Motorcycle Stolen

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- Police are investigating after an Iraq war veteran had his motorcycle stolen over the Memorial Day weekend, ABC affiliate KOAT reports.

Richard Goehring returned from a trip and discovered that his 2000 TLC 886 Harley-Davidson was missing from his home. The bike's locks had been cut and disposed. Goehring is shocked and saddened by the incident, saying he often took long rides on the bike to ease his PTSD.

"I want that bike back. I've got a lot of good memories and I want many more," he told Action 7 News. "It's just heartbreaking to see it gone."

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Albuquerque Police Department.
