Large Quantities of Dirty Needles Found in Albuquerque

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) – Scores of dirty syringes were discovered in an empty apartment building in northwestern Albuquerque Thursday.

The building is located on Estancia NW, near Central Avenue, where police and firefighters collected over 60 used syringes.

The Safe City Strike Force said it's working on knocking down the red-tagged building so that it ceases to be a drug den.
