Man Arrested While Naked Appears in Court

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- An intoxicated man who allegedly attacked a sheriff's deputy while naked appeared in court on Sunday, ABC affiliate KOAT-TV reports.

A sheriff's deputy on patrol noticed a man hiding, according to a criminal complaint. The deputy said he saw that Lester Salazar was naked as he fled from him. He tried to handcuff Salazar, but the two became involved in a struggle. The deputy said Salazar was extremely intoxicated and was taken to the University of New Mexico Hospital.

Salazar is out of jail on bond.
