Martinez Among Speakers at Republican National Convention

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- With the Republican National Convention drawing closer, Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus announced Monday a list of headline speakers for the upcoming convention in Tampa, Fla. -- including New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez.
Martinez is among seven listed speakers for the Convention, which begins Aug. 27.
Also scheduled to speak are Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Arizona Sen. John McCain, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Florida Gov. Rick Scott.
“They are some of our party’s brightest stars, who have governed and led effectively and admirably in their respective roles,” Priebus said in a statement.
