New Partnership Announced with Corrections Department and UNM

(SANTA FE, N.M.) -- The Corrections Industries Division of the New Mexico Corrections Department is teaming up with the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management, with the aim of helping the department become more self sufficient and less dependent on funding from taxpayers.

The partnership was announced on Tuesday.The joint effort will also work towards having inmates develop work skills through inmate labor, which will hopefully benefit them when they are re-integrated into society upon completion of their sentences.
