Serial Tire Thief Arrested

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- Police say they arrested a serial tire thief on Monday, according to the Albuquerque Journal.

Edgar Camacho, 20, was caught by police when he was trying to sell tires to a tire shop at 5000 Central SW. He supposedly stole four tires and wheels off a Chevrolet truck located at the 3400 block of Mars NE, police said.

After being booked at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Camacho confessed to 11 similar crimes in the Northwest section of Albuquerque.

He is being charged with larceny, receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
