Son Ready to Turn in Wanted Mom
(LOS LUNAS, N.M.) -- A New Mexico man is willing to turn his wanted mother in to police so she can face charges of fraud.
Mollie Stacey is charged with defrauding the government out of around $300,000, and her son, William Stacey, says he plans on informing police about her whereabouts so that she may be arrested. In September, the mother pleaded guilty to Medicaid fraud, falsification of documents and conspiracy.
William may be especially motivated to turn his mother in, since she tried to have him killed in 1996 to cash in on a life insurance policy. The son also says his mother has his two children, and he is hoping that she will be put behind bars and have the children returned to him.
The woman is expected to be arrested on Monday.
