(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) -- Officials say the Whitewater-Baldy Complex wildfire could become the largest wildfire in New Mexico's history.
By Monday the fire had already engulfed over 152,000 acres of land and continued to rage on. Fire crews are working around the clock to battle the flames, which have been spreading in a northern direction, reports ABC's Albuquerque affiliate, KOAT-TV.
Windy conditions have provided a challenge in fighting the fire; however, KOAT-TV reports that the flames are no longer threatening any homes in the area.
