Binghamton University to Offer Start-Up Business Training Program

(BINGHAMTON, N.Y.) -- The Binghamton University Small Business Development Center will offer a training program for small business start-ups beginning next Wednesday, ABC affiliate WIVT/WBGH-TV reports.

The training will take place at 222 Water Street in downtown Binghamton, and is scheduled over three consecutive Wednesdays: Sept. 5, Sept. 12 and Sept. 19. Classes will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Participants in the program will learn how to assess, plan and start-up a business. Participants will also learn how to predict business success, how to comply with government regulations and how to finance and market products and services.
