BU High-Tech Incubator Set for Downtown

(BINGHAMTON, N.Y.) -- On Wednesday, Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger and local elected officials announced they will be building a high tech incubator, ABC affiliate WIVT/WBGH-TV reports.

The leaders hope to secure $22 million in funding to build the incubator on Hawley Street between Carroll and Exchange. Stenger would like the future place to run like Buffalo’s Bear Park Research facility, which brings together various experts in finance, law and regulatory policies to help local businesses at an affordable price.
