Man Arrested in Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident

(ENDICOTT, N.Y.) -- A 29-year-old man is accused of killing a man after a hit-and-run accident Saturday evening, ABC affiliate WIVT/WBGH-TV reports.

Police said Kevin Buie hit and killed 36-year-old Jonathon Pratt when he ran a red light at the corner of Front and Main Streets around 11 p.m. They said he also hit 33-year-old Joseph Dirig, who is in a local intensive care unit.

Buie has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident, and more charges may be filed.
