Preston to Announce New Green Initiatives and Major Savings

(BINGHAMTON, N.Y.) -- Broome County Executive Debbie Preston will launch several new Green Initiatives and announce major savings at a news conference Thursday, ABC affiliate WIVT/WBGH-TV reports.

The news conference will take place at 2 p.m. at the Broome County Landfill, located at 286 Knapp Rd.

Commissioner of Public Waste Dan Schofield will join Preston at the conference.
