Unity Group to Perform at Friday's Brown Bag Concert Series

(BINGHAMTON, N.Y.) -- The Binghamton Economic Development Office invites community members to come listen to the music of the Unity Group at Friday's Brown Bag Concert Series downtown, ABC affiliate WIVT/WBGH-TV reports.

The tenth performance of the 2012 Brown Bag Concert series will take place Friday from noon until 1 p.m. at the Downtown Binghamton Farmers Market on Collier Street.

Unity Group plays a range of world music and employs a variety of instruments that include Trinidadian steel pans, African drums and Australian didgeridoos.

The series runs through Aug. 31.
