Accident on I-65 Leaves Two Dead

(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) -- A two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon has left two people dead, ABC affiliate 33/40 reports.
The accident occurred around 3:37 p.m. on I-65 north at University Boulevard. A pickup truck traveling south jumped the median and collided with a van on the northbound side of I-65. One person in the pickup truck was killed, and two other persons in the pickup were taken to the hospital, where they are listed in critical and serious condition.
Another passenger in the van was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
