ALDOT to Start Pavement Repairs on Bankhead Highway 

(JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala.) -- The Alabama Department of Transportation will close lanes for pavement repairs at various times on the eastbound and westbound inside and outside lanes of US-78 (Bankhead Highway) on Thursday, ABC affiliate 33/40 reports.

ALDOT will close lanes from the I-59 Arkadelphia Road Interchange (exit 123) to Finley Boulevard on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Drivers are asked to consider using alternate routes, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, adjust travel times and use extreme caution in the area.
