Birmingham Police Arrest Teen Robber

(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) -- Police have arrested a 16-year-old for a robbery on Earline Circle earlier this week, ABC affiliate 33/40 reports.

Officers from the East Precinct responded to a report of a home invasion on Earline Circle on Tuesday around 8 p.m. Police had a description of the suspect, whom they located and detained upon arrival. The suspect was later identified as one of the robbers. No injuries occurred during the incident.

Police learned during their investigation that the suspect and an accomplice forced their way into the victim's home and stole various valuables before leaving. The other suspect fled the scene before the police arrived.
