Cops Identify Man Found Shot Dead in Fairfield Mall Parking Lot

(FAIRFIELD, Ala.) -- Police have identified a man who was shot and killed in Fairfield on Thursday morning.

Police were called to the parking lot of Legacy Mall on the 6500 block of Aaron Aronov Drive where 52-year-old Jimmy Hudson Jr. was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe robbery was the motive behind the killing.

No arrests have been made, however, police said they have identified a person of interest and believe that once this person is located a capital murder charge will eventually be filed, according to published reports.
