High School Freshman Brings BB Gun to School

(CHILDERSBURG, Ala.) -- A ninth-grade student at Childersburg High School brought a BB gun to school on Thursday morning, according to ABC affiliate WBMA.

The student was reported to authorities when a fellow student saw the gun.  Police arrived and found the BB gun in the student's gym locker.  The school was placed on lockdown and the student was taken into custody, according to the report.
