Late Night Crash Kills One, Injures Three

(BESSEMER, Ala.) -- One person is dead and three others were injured following a crash in Bessemer on Monday night.

The crash occurred on I-95 South around 10 p.m. Bessemer police say one victim was pronounced dead on the scene, while three others travelling in the same vehicle had to be cut out by emergency crews using the Jaws of Life. The three surviving victims were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

No details were available as to what caused the crash.
