Police Identify Missing University of Alabama Student

(TUSCALOSSA, Ala.) -- Police have identified the University of Alabama student who went overboard while attending a sorority boat party Thursday night, ABC affiliate 33/40 reports.

Charles Edwards Jones III of Demopolis went missing shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday at a party on the "Bama Belle." Officials resumed their search for the man by boat and helicopter early Friday morning.

Jones is the cousin of Tuscaloosa Police Chief Steven Anderson.
