Restaurants and Bars Coming to Downtown Birmingham

(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) -- A Birmingham developer says that two restaurants, two bars and an event center are on the way to downtown Birmingham, The Birmingham Business Journal reports.

A new French-themed restaurant, Bistro 218, will open in the former Seafood D'Lite building at 218 20th St. N. this fall. A bar in the former Subway space at 206 20th St. N. and another bar and event center in the former Speakeasy space on Third Avenue North are also coming to the area.

One more restaurant in an undisclosed location will also open.
