Two Dead, Four Injured in Cullman County Crash

(CULLMAN, Ala.) -- A three vehicle crash just outside of Cullman Saturday left two people dead and four others injured.

The accident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on highway 278. Police say Ronnie Jack Puckett was driving westbound when his 1994 truck collided head-on with an eastbound Chevy Impala driven by Doris C. McAdams. After the initial impact, Puckett then collided with April Skinner's 1996 Le Sabre.

Puckett, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. McAdams also was killed at the scene.

Skinner along with three other passengers were taken to a local hospital.

The accident is under investigation.
