Two Homicide Victims' Funerals Set for Thursday

(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) -- On Sunday, there was a triple homicide in Pelham and two of the victims are having their funerals on Thursday, ABC affiliate WCFT/WJSU-TV reports.

Joshua Smith’s funeral will be held at Martin Funeral Home at 3 p.m. in Clanton. He was 22-years-old.

Casey Cumberland’s funeral will be at 11 a.m. at Charter Funeral Home in Calera.

Simeon Gilmore, 19, was also killed at Smith’s house on this past Sunday in the Chandalar neighborhood of Pelham. Gilmore’s funeral has yet to be scheduled.

John Staggs Junior was arrested for the deaths and will go to trial for capital murder and first degree burglary.
