Woman Allegedly Bites Estranged Husband in Groin

(JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala.) -- A 28-year-old woman is facing criminal charges after officials say she attacked her estranged husband by biting him in the groin.
The incident happened on June 2 at a home on the 500 block of Utica Place in McDonald Chapel. Authorities said Tiffany Ronita McGregory went to the home where her estranged husband was asleep with his girlfriend, began hitting the man and then stabbed him with a scissors and bit the man in the groin area.
McGregory then allegedly left the scene, and was later arrested after police said she admitted that she attacked the man. McGregory is charged with domestic violence, assault and burglary.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
