Trail For Man Accused of Killing Infant Daughter Moved to May

(BOISE, Idaho) -- The trial for a Boise man accused of murdering his infant daughter has been moved to May after the first one ended in a mistrial, according to The Idaho Statesman.

Jeffrey Baker, who was charged with murder after his daughter Gracelynn died in May 2010, will face a new trail beginning on May 7 in front of 4th District Judge Pat Owen, according to the report.  Prosecutors say Gracelynn's fatal injuries were a result of blows to the head and being shaken.

A mistrial was declared this week when a witness told the jury Baker was on parole when his daughter died, even though she was not supposed to mention it in court.
