GOP Senator John McGee Resigns Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

(BOISE, Idaho) -- Sen. John McGee of Caldwell resigned on Wednesday morning, in the midst of sexual harassment allegations from a Senate attaché, reports ABC affiliate KIVI-TV.

The 39-year-old Canyon County Republican who was serving his fourth term as senator, was arrested last June and pleaded guilty to drunk driving in a deal that erased accompanying auto theft charges.
