Jerome Man Wins $100,000 in Scratch Game
(BOISE, Idaho) -- A Jerome man who won $100,000 in a scratch game says he can "really retire" now, ABC affiliate KIVI reports.
Kenneth Baker, of Jerome, claimed the top prize in the Idaho Lottery Scratch Game Break the Bank. He bought the winning ticket at the Stinker Store at 700 W. Main St. in Jerome. Baker, who has resided in Jerome since 1999, had been working for a local dairy, but retired earlier this yaer.
"I bought the ticket at the Stinker store on the west end of town, scratched it, and couldn’t believe it," he described. "I had the store check it and they told me I'd have to go to Boise because they couldn't pay it!
Baker has no plans to return to work.
