(BOISE, Idaho) -- Boise police arrested a suspect on Tuesday who was wanted on multiple felony warrant charges, including Aggravating Battery.
Police say when officers responded to a report of a possible drunk driver on Aug. 9 at Vista Avenue and Kootenai, the suspect, Chris Boeller, continued driving and intentionally drove at a bicyclist on the street. Police say they initiated a PIT maneuver and impacted the vehicle, which sent Boeller's car over the median, where he drove into traffic and intentionally struck a vehicle head on. After searching Boeller, officers found a glass smoking pipe with suspected meth.
Boeller was not immediately arrested following the incident because he was undergoing medical treatment. He has been charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, eluding, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting and obstructing.
