Suspect Crashes into Fence After Trying to Elude Cops

(BOISE, Idaho) -- A chase through the streets of Boise on Thursday, ended with 30-year-old local Julio Hurtado being arrested for driving under the influence, eluding officers, hit and run along with resisting and obstructing officers.
Police said around 1:20 a.m. Thursday officers on patrol tried to pull over an SUV that was driving over the speed limit in the area just east of Broadway Ave. on Warm Springs Ave. The driver, Hurtado, allegedly failed to comply and sped off before eventually crashing into a fence on Logan Street.
A police report stated that Hurtado then fled on foot and when officers caught up with him he allegedly failed to comply with their commands and was eventually tased and taken into custody.
