Facebook Announces Three New Changes for More User Control

Photo Courtesy - Facebook(PALO ALTO, Calif.) -- Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday announced three new changes that he says will allow more user control of their accounts.

Zuckerberg said the company has built a quick and easy solution that will allow Facebook users to download information from Facebook to their computers, including messages, wall posts, photos and profile information.

Facebook will also feature an apps dashboard that will show users which applications on the networking site have accessed their information and the time the information was accessed.  The dashboard will also allow users to change permissions.

Perhaps the largest addition to the site is the "groups" application.  Zuckerberg said that users will finally be able to share information with smaller groups of family, friends or colleagues rather than just sharing with their larger online community.
