Apple Expected to Unveil New iPad

David Paul Morris/Bloomberg via Getty Images(SAN FRANCISCO) -- If you've been waiting to find out what the next iPad will look like, Wednesday might just be the day.

Apple set a press conference for March 7 at 10 a.m. PST (1 p.m. ET) in San Francisco to unveil what's expected to be the new version of the company's tablet computer.

As is its practice, Apple has been silent on the next version of the iPad.  But the rumor mill has been brewing and expectations are that the new tablet will have a higher resolution display than the iPad 2, and may be called the iPad HD.

The tablet is also said to have a faster processor and be available with 4G LTE options from AT&T and Verizon.  This would be the first time that Apple has chosen to include Verizon and AT&T's new and faster 4G service in its products.

Rumors also suggest that the tablet will have Apple's Siri personal assistant feature and a new version of Apple's iOS software.
