Dollar Tree Recalls 117,000 Candle Holders

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission(WASHINGTON) -- Dollar Tree and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission are recalling 117,000 Glass Votive Candle Holders sold at Dollar Tree stores after receiving at least one report of the product shattering while in use.

“This recall involves frosted or clear glass votive candle holders with French vanilla scented candles,” the CPSC said in recalling the product.

The candle holders are 2.5 inches tall, carry model number 976127 and a date code of 1010. They were sold at Dollar Bill$, Deal$ and Dollar Tree Deal$ stores throughout the U.S. from Dec. 2010 through April 2011.

Consumers can return the candle holders to the store where the product was purchased for a refund.
