Oprah Finale: A 30-Second Ad Costs What?!

Oprah Winfrey/ABC News(CHICAGO) -- Companies looking to buy a 30-second advertisement on the Oprah series finale will have to shell out $1 million, according to reports.

The going price for an ad on the May 25 finale would top the finales of ABC’s Lost and Fox’s 24, but pale in comparison to the finale of CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, which garnered $1.2 million, and the Friends finale, which took in $2 million per 30-second spot.
