(SAN FRANCISCO) -- A new car aims to serve a small market -- literally. Made by Toyota, the new Scion iQ will be the world's smallest four-seater in a class of its own, called a micro-subcompact.
"We think that it plays to a whole new audience that we have not reached in the past with Scion," said Dawn Ahmed of Toyota. She says the company intends to target urban drivers who park where space is scarce.
"It feels and it handles like a car that's much larger," Ahmed said.
The iQ will be available in October. The starting price, the company says, is $15,265.
