Wal-Mart Reclaims Top Spot on "Fortune" 500 List

Justin Sullivan/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Wal-Mart is back on top of the Fortune 500 list.

The big-box retailer reclaimed the number one spot in 2012 with a growth of nearly $23 billion after coming in second on the list the year before.

Three oil companies -- Exxon Mobil, Chevron and Phillips 66 -- followed, coming in at number two, three and four, respectively.  Berkshire Hathaway rounded out the top five.

There were two notable additions to the list this year: Priceline.com and Facebook.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, along with Yahoo's Marissa Mayer, are the only two Fortune 500 chief executives under 40.
