Boeing Delivers Second 787 Dreamliner to Charleston Airport
(CHARLESTON, S.C.) -- A Boeing spokesman has confirmed that its second 787 Dreamliner has officially been delivered to Air India, and is scheduled to fly out of Charleston International Airport Tuesday afternoon, The Post and Courier reports.
The plane was assembled in Everett, Wash. and flown to North Charleston in early July, according to the paper. Its arrival comes a week and a half after the airport's first 787 Dreamliner delivery almost two weeks ago, the paper says.
The plane is scheduled to fly to Frankfurt, Germany at about 3 p.m., according to The Post and Courier.
