Former Panthers Running Back Stephen Davis Arrested

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) -- Former Carolina Panthers player Stephen Davis was arrested on Wednesday and charged with operating a business without a license.

The 38-year-old Davis is a former running back for the NFL team and is the current owner of PURE Lounge located on Berryhill Road in Columbia, according to the state's Department of Revenue.

In a statement the department said: "Since the revocation of its license by the SC Department of Revenue in July 2012, the Revenue investigation proved that PURE Lounge continued to operate and conduct sales even without a retail license."
