Gov. Haley Welcomes JetBlue to SC

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) -- South Carolina welcomed JetBlue Airways with open arms.

On Wednesday, the airline announced that it will be offering direct service from Charleston, S.C. to both New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston's Logan Airport from February 28, 2013.

"We are so excited to welcome JetBlue to South Carolina - this is huge for our state, and will bring more people to Charleston, the number one tourist destination in the country," Governor Nikki Haley said in a statement. "It's a great day in South Carolina."
