(COLUMBIA, S.C.) -- Gov. Haley is set to travel to Wisconsin to campaign with Gov. Scott Walker next week, The Post & Courier reports.
Rob Godfrey, Haley's spokesman, said that the trip will be funded by the Republican Governors Association, and that Haley will not use the state plane for the June 1 trip. Godfrey said Walker, who is facing a recall election, asked Haley to campaign with him, the paper says.
The recall election was prompted by Walker's support of a bill in Wisconsin that diminished the collective bargaining rights of public employee unions.
