South Carolina Unemployment Rate Rises

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) -- The unemployment rate in South Carolina rose to 9.4 percent in June from 9.1 percent in May, according to The State.

Although the government sector lost 4,900 jobs, the leisure and hospitality industry added 3,700 jobs.
