State Representative Facing Weapons, DUI Charges
(COLUMBIA, S.C.) -- State Representative Ted Vick (D-Chesterfield) was arrested on Wednesday night and faces DUI and weapons charges.
A Columbia police officer pulled Vick over for speeding on Devine Street. According to The Sun News, Vick, who is married with two daughters, had a University of South Carolina female student in the car with him. Vick was also found to be in the possession of a pistol.
Vick is a candidate for the Democratic nomination for South Carolina's newly created 7th district. The primary will take place on June 12.
