USC Asks Columbia Police for Security Help

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) -- On Thursday, USC requested the help from the Columbia police force to combat against the rise in violent crimes on and around campus, The State reports.

According to Columbia police Chief Randy Scott, he will direct officers to patrol the campus.

Recently, five hand guns and other weapons were discovered in a student’s dormitory room. The student was arrested.
