State Legislative Candidates to Answer Questions at Forums
(CLEVELAND, Tenn.) -- State legislative candidates will answer questions on Tuesday at the first of three public forums scheduled in July, the Chattanooga Times Free Press reports.
Candidates for the 10th Senate District, the 22nd House District and the 24th House District have been invited to a 6 p.m. forum on Tuesday at the Dixon Center on the Lee University campus.
Candidates from the Cleveland City Council and the Bradley County School Board will be featured at a 6:30 p.m. forum on Thursday, also at the Dixon Center.
The third forum will take place July 17 at 6:30 p.m. and will feature candidates for Congress from the 3rd and 4th districts at the Johnson Theater on the Cleveland State Community College campus.
The Cleveland Bar Association and the Cleveland Lions Club are both involved in the forums, and the event will be moderated by Attorney James F. Logan Jr., a former president of both organizations.
