Classes Dismissed at Northern Suburban School After Kiln Fire

(CHICAGO) -- Classes were dismissed early Thursday at a north suburban Chicago school after a fire started in an art class, ABC News Chicago affiliate WLS-TV reports.

A fire was reported inside a kiln in an art room inside Antioch Upper Grade School. Students were dismissed after some complained that they had trouble breathing. The fire was quickly extinguished and the school was evacuated so that the building could air out.

Classes will resume their normal schedule Friday.
