Police Find Man Who Went Missing from Senior Center

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) -- An 80-year-old man who was reported missing on Thursday night in Colorado Springs has reportedly been found.

Police say around 10:15 p.m. they responded to the vicinity of Monterey Road and Circle Drive on a report about an elderly man who appeared to be confused walking in the area. Officers say they were then informed that Charles Watson of the Aspen Living Center had gone missing after walking away from the facility

Shortly after midnight, police issued a statement saying that Watson, who has been diagnosed with dementia, was found by officers who were searching the area.

Police Seek Four Suspects in Gun Store Robbery

(MONUMENT, Colo.) -- Police are looking for at least four people who broke into a Tri-Lakes Shooting Supply store in Monument on Thursday.

Colorado ABC News affiliate KRDO reports three men broke through the front door and entered the store stealing several firearms while at least one woman was in a waiting car.

The suspects were caught on video surveillance and police are asking the public for help in identifying the four. They are considered armed and dangerous.

Man Dies in Single Car Crash Near Walsenburg

(WALSENBURG, Colo.) -- A man died Wednesday after crashing into a bridge railing near Walsenburg, Colo.

The victim was driving a 1998 Toyota Rav4 westbound on Highway 69 when he veered off the road. In an attempt to get back on the road, the driver crashed into a road sign, according to KRDO-TV.

The identity of the victim has yet to be released. The man is not believed to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Highway 69 was shut down for several hours due to the investigation.

Caught In the Act: 3 Arrested for Burglary at Springs Home

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) -- A call from an observant neighbor led to police arresting three suspects in a burglary at a Colorado Springs home on Wednesday.

Police say shortly after 11 a.m. they received a call about a suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on the 3600 block of E. Wade Lane, with the caller saying that two people from the vehicle were seen trying doors at the home. A police report states that officers responded, spotted the suspicious vehicle, a Honda, and arrested a male who was in the vehicle.

Police say two suspects who ran from the scene were also caught and arrested.

The three suspects -- two men and a juvenile male -- have each been charged with second-degree burglary.

Two Schools Locked Down During Police Search for Suspects

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) -- Police arrested three suspects Tuesday afternoon after conducting a search that resulted in two local schools being placed on lockdown.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports the two schools -- Grant Elementary and Globe Charter School -- were placed on temporary lockdown as police searched the area for suspects wanted in connection with a morning robbery. Authorities captured the suspects by 12:45 p.m. and the lockdowns were lifted. Police did not provide further details as to what led to the lockdowns.

Authorities did not release the names of the suspects arrested.
