Six Found Guilty of Defrauding Staffing Agencies

(DENVER) -- On Thursday, federal officials announced the conviction of six men on charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.

The six defendants from Colorado Springs represented themselves in the three-week trial in federal court. David A. Banks, Demetrius K. Harper, Gary L. Walker, Clinton A. Stewart, David A. Zirpolo, and Kendrick Barnes were indicted in 2009 and face up to 20 years in prison as well as fines for the scheme in which they defrauded 42 staffing agencies after setting up companies and filing false invoices.
